I am an interdisciplinary marine mammal ecologist with a PhD in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am broadly interested in understanding how human activities influence marine predators and ecosystems, and how these complex interactions may shift in response to climate change. For over 15 years, I have worked as a researcher/scientist for non-profits, universities, and state government evaluating the impacts of human activities on the marine environment. I have a master’s degree from Scripps Institution of Oceanography with a focus on the acoustic impacts of seismic surveys and marine environmental policy, and a B.S. in Psychobiology from the University of New England.
